I strive to find inspiration in things that feel authentic to me and go from there in my process.
Nature is what I glean from the most and it's also from where I source my materials, sometimes by hand. While I love working in metal, I have a hard time with the sustainability of my chosen medium. Since I don't want to take away from finite resources if I don't have to, I take the time to source the majority of my silver from local businesses, antique stores, and friends. The keys I use also have an amazing history behind them that even I don't know... though I wish I did. The history behind my materials is what compels me to repurpose them into something beautiful, wearable, and sustainable.
